What are good camping ideas? im want to have camp out some day what would good games and food to eat?

any crazy camping ideas? im going camping with my two friends and a bunch of cousins. my two friends and i want to make this the best camping experience ever! we're going to a lake to camp and we already decided that us three are staying at our own tent and at around 3 in the morning we are going to sneak out and go skinny dipping. are there any other crazy ideas that you can think of that can make our weekend crazier? (nothing's too crazy for us!) thanks!

Camping ideas? I want to do something out of the norm for a vac. I been to Disney twice and the Caribean I want to go campng with a bunch of friends and our families, need some ideas as far as where should we go (I'm from NYC) and what shall we do while there for ourselves as well as our children which range from 2 years old to 14 years old, not sure what to do have never been camping but would like to corridate a trip, so any help would be grateful. I would think 3 to 4 days should be fine so no one gets bored or home sick.

We can only think of three things to do: 1. Ride on the horses on the horse trail 2. Go Putt-Putt Golfing (The area is known for its golfing) 3. Have a scavenger hunt (while hiking at the same time) Why do childish things? I live on a military base in japan, and this is a military recreational camping area...it doesn't have a fishing area, and any type of gun is prohibited, for only the secruity guards at the gate can have them. Is there anything else we can do that can appeal to teenagers? (sorry I asked the question over again, but I needed ideas that would be aloud in the area) Thanks a wholeee bunch =D

What are some good camping meal ideas? I'm taking my 2 young kids campings for 2 nights. Preferrably healthy, easy, and requiring little or no "equipment". I already figured out fruit, smores, PB&J and hot dogs on a stick.

Camping Room Ideas for a Toddler Boy? Our son has a camping theme room, fairly good size room. We painted it Limey Grassy Green and it has tan carpet and white ceilings with a white ceiling fan. He has 2 giant Leaves over his light wooden twin bed (leaves are from Ikea). He has camping themed bedding and bug sheets (although I'd be interested in finding another set of the bug sheets - we got the bedding set from Target on clearance a couple years ago). He has a matching lamp with scout patches on it. He has a nightstand and a dresser with a mirror on it. My dad is making him a canoe bookshelf (either red or navy blue). He just has regular blinds on his windows right now. Oh, and a big green bug light on his wall. Along the wall that the big leaves and his bed is on, we have his name letters - navy blue from Pottery Barn Kids. Any ideas for things to put on his dresser and bookshelf? Also, we could use 1 or 2 big pictures for his wall!

My mother has had a really depressing week, so she decided she would like to go camping to help her feel better, but the person who she usually goes camping with(my aunt) crushed the idea and i know it kinda hurt her feelings. Howdy, I used to be a Boy Scout, so I've been camping before...but me and my mates want to go "wilderness" camping...just bring our packs, food, knives, etc and sleep out in the wild for a few days. What are the laws on bringing firearms (say, a hunting rifle) along on the camping trip (not for target shooting, or hunting, hell no... i just own a rifle i've always wanted to bring camping...haha...just a lil' thing ive wanted to do)?

Grand Canyon Camping...any ideas? I'd like to spend a week at the Grand Canyon, with 3-4 days of camping down on the floor of the canyon. The sites I have found are confusing, not very clear on the guidelines for permits, etc. What are the best times of year for GC Camping? Where are the best sites within the canyon? Are bears/wolves/etc a threat, & can we legally bring firearms into the canyon? I know we have to book in advance, get a camping permit, but what else do I need to know? Thanks for the help! Camping breakfast ideas? Going with a bunch of families, with toddlers, need to feed about 20. We got the Monday breakfast. So we'll need to have it in the cooler since Friday - although may go into a town to get supplies. Just dont want to buy much besides ice at the overpriced grocery store.
