Anyone have any great camping tips, tools, or advise they want to share? I camp regularly with my family in the wild and rough great outdoors (middle of nowhere). I am looking for great tips on every aspect of camping to help make my trips better. Everything from meal ideas, to equipment that you can't live without.

What are your best camping tips for a novice camper? I am going to a B&B, but they have a wide expanse of camping grounds, which is where a group of us (4) will be staying. They also have tent rentals, wood, access to a grill, and bathrooms. Since I'm a novice, I wanted to start this way. What should I bring? What should I know? I would love your expertise! Camping tips? My mum and dad are going camping this weekend for two nights. It's my mum's first time, and I don't think my dad's been in over 20 years. Does anyone have any last minute advice I can give them, things to take, things to do, etc so that they'll think I'm a genius, and also so they don't come home early and ruin my plans. If it makes a difference, they're going on a camp site with toilet facilities etc on site. And they're taking the dog with them.

My children and I have been tent camping regularly in National Forest areas and I would like to continue, but the recent bear attack on the poor boy in Utah has me thinking twice. The show starts in the evening, but to get front row seats, we’re camping out from around lunch until later into the evening. In total, we’ll be camping out for about 6 hours. I need helpful tips for camping on the beach? This weekend me and some friends are going to camp out on the beach on Padre (South of Corpus Christi, TX). Packing tips for camping in the forest of dean UK (near south welsh border)? last year we spent a week at a campsite in exmoor. the weather was georgeous during the day (26 degrees C and higher, lots of vests and suncream) but pretty chilly at night (we went out and bought extra blankets for the second night). this year it's a different area (symonds yat, ross-on-wye herefordshire), and we're not really sure what the weather can be like there. i'm trying to stop myself expecting the same great weather, as the recent weather has caused floods in the county. i like to travel as lightly as possible and "recylcle clothes" through out the week. what are the best clothes and bedding to pack when you don't know what weather to expect? if you live in or near the area, what's the weather likely to be like (on average) for the first half of July? any extra tips for us would be appreciated! it's only our second year camping! our trip is from the 8th to the 14th July 2007.

tips for a girl going camping? Ok, I'm going to camp at Lake Tahoe pretty soon, and I've been camping only once before. I heard there are no mosquitos, and we're mostly waterskiing for almost the whole week. I need help on maybe some easy ways of keeping my hair back while camping, and maybe some advice on what to wear. I have a ton of tank tops and shorts, but I know I can't ALWAYs wear that for the whole trip. I also need to find some way to keep my hair and skin ok in the woods. (There are good showers, or so I'm told.) I need to know what I should bring, and what I shouldn't. by the way, nope, NO RV. just a good ol tent.
