- Priests and altar boys.
- Make up your own game be creative and the children will have fun.
- I realize that they are small but you could get a craft book. That is what I have done for my 2 year old. He has started causing problems in the last few weeks because he is board. I bought me a kids craft book and we've been getting better. I just adapt the crafts for little ones. It is something you can do as a family and it will calm them down. My personal favorite is making funny hats and paper mash masks. My little one is 2, so I adapt the crafts to his level. Also, my Tristen has always liked playing tent. We will build a tent out of blankets and sheets and he will put some toys in it and play all day. We started that one when he was about 11 months and just starting to move good. If you can't go outside there is always hide and seek.... I know the little ones wont understand, but don't think the 2 year old doesn't. If you have the game twister you could always get the mat out and make up games from that too. You can think of some pretty good ones.
- Simon says is good so they listen to you. And do some science things too. My sons love that. You can also try 'centers' idea where they play in areas for a given time and then another area. Do you have any rain day ideas?
- Depending on how many there are, I Would keep their attentions by having different stations of projects. You could put them in groups for rotating or set a schedule. *Have you guys considered water day (sprinklers, slipnslide, water balloons, etc.) * if you have a patch of sidewalk you could have them use chalk, or sidewalk paints. *Have a craft station, Michaels or other craft stores have a lot of cool cheap projects. *There is a new Twister game that is made to be played outside. *Run a game of soccer, tag, or hide and seek. *Get a bunch of big moving boxes and have them use their imagination (paint them to look like race cars on the outside, paint them to look like buildings or houses) this gives a project and play time Have fun!
- If you have a sand box that would be fun or a Kiddie pool!!! Singing and Mabye Have a tent and Play like it is a reall camp!! Hope this helps!!! Crafts Like drawing an gluing !! P.S. ALWAYS Have a life guard at the Kiddie Pool!!
