IMHO Kobe will not get traded unless he sits out. Will Kobe Sit out of training camp and Regular season games?

1. no he won't. He may deliberately throw games and not be as effective, but he's (hopefully) smart enough to know that while some fans may forgive this tirade he's been on, they will lose respect for him if he doesn't play at all. Nike just resigned him and he is a pretty shrewd business man. So he knows that he will take a financial hit and a hit from the public eye if he doesn't play. He will play. How well? That depends on who the lakers get during this off season.

3. Who cares, he is over paid and not a team player.. Until his head deflates and he becomes a team player, who ever he playes for will not win a championship. Why do you think Shaq left.
4. Kobe is not going to walk away from $20mil on the table, which is what will happen if it sits out. To force a trade he would have to play some before the trading deadline or he risks losing value. It would backfire on him if the Lakers are doing well and he's not playing.
5. He and his agent have each said he will. That leads me to believe he will. I don't know where everyone else is getting their information, but Kobe and his agent have confirmed that he won't play in a Lakers uniform again.
