Camping Out Ideas
Looking for any middle ages prop ideas for camp.?
I need ideas... I am pulling a blank here. I cannot seem to find anything on my searches of the web. Does anyone have any ideas of easy things to put together for a middle ages themed camp for families? Thank-you

- Perhaps some rats, feces contaminated water, and the smell of death in the air... Maybe consider Renaissance theme instead
- hey! you could make crafts, such as wax dipped flowers, tissue paper flowers... crowns and head dresses... just have some basic craft stuff on hand, pipe cleaners, cloth, ribbon, etc. you could do a may pole... research midevil games on the internet (there is one inparticular that i am thinking of called lawn bowling, i think) have "fake" archery (not pointy arrows) um... have turkey legs and bread bowls with homemade soups... have a knighting ceremony... etc etc etc... IM me if you want to talk more i'm sure i'll have more ideas-- i did a whole research project on the renaissance!

- Long banners of fabric with "crests" on them. cut shield shapes from cardboard , spray painted silver. good luck!
- Visit sca.org. They do medieval re-enactment and can give you some ideas of what would be accurate and some easy crafts to do. Amtgard.com might give you some ideas also.
