Ideas for Camping Themed Bridal Shower?
I need Ideas for foods, beverages and decorations for a Camping themed Bridal Shower. I am going to make a Smores Pie using grahm grackers chocolate pie filling and marshmellow fluff. And we will hold the Shower outside in a mosquito netted tent. Other than these things I am stumped. Yes the Bride is really into Camping, also I thought it would be something different.

- Why would you have a camping themed Bridal Shower? Is the bride into it? Why don't you have kabobs for the food? The seem like hey could be cooked over a camp fire. You could also have a fire pit.
- In the movie Braveheart the characters get married in the secert garden- watch that for some ideas. Flowers, nice candles, ghost stories, wine, or Baliey's and coffee, and I always like smoked salmon, unless you are camping in grizzly country! Have fun!
- Make some campfire chili and have the flour tortilla wraps already made up... use your imagination on these. peanut butter / cheese whatever... Have fun sew
- Make some "Pigs in a Sleeping Bag" Roll out Puff Pastry, thawed from the freezer section of grocery store. Cut into rectangles, and place hot dogs on them so that yoou can wrap them, leaving one end uncovered. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min until puffed and browned. - You could make up a game w/ tiny rolled sleeping bags and the one who get the sleeping bag w/the dollar inside gets a gift or has to write down all the gift and who they are from or something like that. Just cut some plad felt squares and wrap them up and tie off w/ some twine. Definitely serve some Chile and hush puppies Chips and Salsa A salad is good and easy. Beverage: Definitely Sangria Or if you wanna grill you could do anything really for meat BBQ style. More camping theme stuff hang some camping lanterns for decoration....... Lay sleeping bags all over the yard for people to sit on w/ regular pillows.......have everybody come wearing like hiking boots and khaki shorts and tank tops or something like that................I can't really think of much more right now, Good Luck and have a blast!
