Do you have any ideas for activities for girl scout camping in some ones back yard?

- Girl scouts?? You can do a lot of team building activities like leap of faith: the girls go one at a time falling into the arms of each other.
- I guess it would depend a little on what age girls you have, but here are some versatile ideas. I hope you can use some of them. :-) 1. How about charades by flashlight. 2. Making smores over a campfire such as a 1 or 2 burner stove (my girls and I do it inside on the stovetop). 3. Break them up into a couple/few "teams" and have them make a camp cheer. 4. Bring some construction paper and twigs that were previously collected, and some twine/yarn/string of some sort - have them make Nature Journals. 5. Have a timer, first person starts a story of any kind, timer goes off and she has to end right there - next person continues the story being timed - and so on from there. 6. Collect rocks and use paint or sharpies and color the rocks as an animal. 7. Or have them color the rocks with a new Camp Flag of their choice. 8. Have them name themselves as an animal - ie: LeeannLion, or LeeannLlama and then tell why they chose that. 9. Give them paper and a pencil, sit in a circle, and draw the girl sitting across from them. 10. See if they can each bring a disposable camera and take pictures of the camping. Then at another meeting they can make scrapbook pages to keep as a memory. :-)
