  1. I went the lakes, that was quality, went up Helvellyn, was tough and boring but felt rewarding when we got up there. The scenery's fantastic, shame that when we went it was foggy and we couldn't see nothing from the top though! So yeah- go the lakes!
  2. North Wales - Snowdonia. An area of outstanding natural beauty, with many camp sites to choose from. Capel Curig is a small village popular with walkers and climbers, with views along Dyffryn Mymbyr towards Snowdon. It is about 5 miles to the west of Betws-y-Coed, and is home to Plas-y-Brenin, the National Mountain Centre. http://www.visitcapel.fsnet.co.uk/ You can go mountain climbing, canoeing, bird watching, sailing etc here. There is so much to see here in Wales, from mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers, copper mines, the list is endless. Have a great camping holiday!
  3. Dartmoor national park - Lots of openness, hills, forest, this river/stream/miniwaterfall/gorge thing... where you can walk the distance of it (lydford gorge - i think), a few campsites Or the Mendips... ... i saw a snake there! ..lol.. I guess up north would be better.. such as scotland...
