Camping Out Ideas
Where can I find Summer Camps or Daytime activity for Teens 14+ in Katy or West Houston?
Summer break is coming. I want to find some fun activity for my 14 and 16 year old during the day while I am work. Maybe for a week or 2. Most Camps take kids only up to age 13. Do you have any good suggestions (that are possibly somewhat reasonable)?

- See if some local churches, if not yours some of your friends or relatives, need help with their Vacation Bible School program. They will probably meet other youth who are there doing that and will make some new friends and feel good about helping out, too.
- The Katy Perfomance Arts Center has some classes in acting and arts for older kids. The Colleges usually have pre-college classes. The Y is also a place - they may be old enough to be assistant counselors.
