boyfriend birthday gift ideas!?

my boyfriend is turning 15 soon and i do not know wat to get him since everything he needs is very expensive. he likes random things and is a boy scout so he absolutely loves the outdoors. hes also very mature for his age. everything i have looked for in camping and hiking stuff is very expensive though so i have no idea what to get. i would love to give him something homemade though. please give me some ideas. thanks in advance!

7. What about fishing equipment? You can get fishing poles for around 10 bucks now. But honestly the best way to go, is from the heart. Make him dinner, invite him over, bake him a cake, write him a poem, or just take him somewhere special where you know he would have fun.

9. can you cook at your age? make him a nice dinner. or convince your parents to take a weekend camping trip and allow you to bring him with you guys. make some sort of crafts for him. something sweet and from the heart. i dunno. thats all i got.
10. How about on of those backpack fishing poles. they take up very little space and are very handy and most are good quality.

12. Here's an idea that combines homemade with the outdoors... a picnic. Yes, I'm old fashioned, but even young men love to eat. Make a nice lunch for him, stuff it in a backpack, arrange transportation for the two of you to a local park, or other safe, green area... spread a blanket under a shady tree, and have a nice lunch. Maybe you could even bake him a favorite treat, like brownies or a small cake. If its a hit, suggest that he make the plans (and the lunch) for the next picnic. Sharing is joy! My boyfriend turned 15 last year and i made him a fleece blanket that he absolutly LOVES.Its Alabama themed...like the college and is gray on the back. you could make him one really easily and without alot of cost! just get 2 pieces of fabric about 2 yrds by 1-2 yrds or howevre much you think he would need and cut the corners out like a square. then cut the remaning pieces into strips and tie the pieces together. its easy and i'm sure he would love to use it..especially for camping!!he might like a camo blanket or a sports theme! you know what he likes...and make him a birthday cake or cookie cake!!
