Camping Out Ideas

Do any of you have Ideas for creative cheerleading gifts!!!?

In about 3 weeks our Cheerleading Squad is going to camp. We each have to bring gifts for the rest of the squad.(there are 13 of us,all girls) I want something thats creative, yet cheap. Do any of you have any ideas? This is my first year as a cheerleader and I really don't want to bring a lame gift/gifts. People in past years have brought: picture frames, gift baskets ect.... For your Ideas, could you please provide instructions on how to make the items?

  1. A pom-pom that explodes with candy. mmmmmmmmmmmm
  2. Hey! I was going to say that! lol
  3. Rhinestone tennis bracelets!
  4. How about matching ribbons for your hair? All you need are pony tail holders, some fabric and pinking shears. Cut strips out of the fabric, it's nice to have contrasting colors, then loop them around the elastic band. Cheap, Easy and fun!
  5. make everyone a spirit stick
  6. Use a variety of beads in your school/squad colors to make bracelets for each person. At Hobby Lobby or Michaels crafts stores, you can even find small charms befitting of most any toopic (cheerleading- pompoms, megaphone, the word "cheer", etc.) to add to each bracelet. Another idea is to make decorated shoelaces for each person. Get plain white laces and decorate with team/squad colors by using puff paints...just make simple dots or dashes down the length of each, or write "Cheer!" repeatedly. Tie-dying them would be neat, too. This craft would be so cheap, that you could probably give everyone a couple sets! One more- what about making a small "sit-upon" for each person. It would be super easy. Just get printed flannel that matches your team colors (the kind that's used for blankets) and measure two pieces the size you need for sitting plus six inches. Cut fringes or notches about one inch wide around all edges. Place a peice of cotton batting between the two pieces; match the fringes together and tie knots to "sew" them together. Each person has their own "sit-upon" for the upcoming season!
  7. Get everyone lotion from bath and body works or Victorias Secret...they usually have sales all the time. Besides...in cheerleading, you have to wear short skirts...to wear a short skirt, you need to shave your legs. After you shave, you need lotion. ANd who wouldn't want lotion that smells good! (just dont stunt right after)
  8. make every1 home-made chocolates bars in a chocolate-bar mold. then, when they r cooled take white chocolate and drizzle each of the chearleading member's names on the bars. example :pam gets the one that has pam written on it with wite chocolate, sunni gets the sunni one, alicia gets the alicia one, jenny gets the jenny one, ann gets the ann one, etc.
