Does anyone have any good camping/canoeing tips?
I'm going on a camping trip in a few days, and no one going with me has ever been before. I've gone camping with my dad a few times, but I've never gone alone. I've also never actually rowed a canoe before, and I've never ridden in one on a river, only in lakes and ponds. Does anyone have any tips that will help this trip to go smoothly? Any advice is appreciated.

- Do not leave food out, and dont sleep to close to the fire
- Camping: remember these things- toilet paper, bug spray and lots of water. Canoeing: Its like riding a bike, remember your balance, remember the person in back is steering.

- well, bring lots of dry clothes, espically socks. a few sweat shirts is a good idea as well. and as for canoeing, i think canoeing in a river is eaiser than in a lake. its the same concept, but just keep your eyes at least 10-15 feet infront of the canoe and look for strange ripples in the water, because those may be logs and/or rocks, and if do get into any trouble with logs or what not, dont hit them sideways, doing this will cause the canoe to lean, causing it to fill up with water and flip. well hope you have luck on your canoe/ camping trip.
