  1. Take a tent
  2. lmao - take a tent.
  3. Hi! Take loadsa sunscreen - it MAY be sunny!! Take waterproofs - 'nuff said!! Make sure all the clothes you take are scruffy ones that you don't mind getting ruined!! Take loads clothes you can wear in layers, so that if it's cold, you'll have something to put on, and if it's warm - you can take summat off! Your feet can get cold at night - so wooly socks are a good idea! Loads biscuits and munchies for those midnight feasts!! And if you're there with four ladies don't forget - condoms!! Don't want to sound too presumptuous - but you might just get lucky!! Hope this helps, and have a GREAT time!!
  4. babywipes and loo roll, leave spare clothes in your car and emergency money.expect not to get any sleep and for your stuff to be stolen harsh but true.you will be grateful when you get back and it's not.mobile fone well charged up and turn off at nights.take an empty bottle and fill up as soon as you get there they always run out of water.easier to carry if the bottle's empty.girls need one of those cheap rain ponchos.with 1 of those they can pee anywhere and no one will see there butts.most important.HAVE FUN.
  5. Camp up as high as you can! Take lots of bin-liners for keeping everything dry. Don't go in an Argos tent. Hx
  6. Have a way to secure all your stuff in a 'bolted down' kinda way. Festival campers aren't like RV people. Lock stuff in the trunk of your car if you have too. If something can walk away, it will! Bring a camera (turn off the sound if it's a cell phone camera ;) ), cooler for food and drinks, TOILET PAPER, first aid kit including band-aids, condoms, pepto-like stuff and imodium-like stuff, camp/lawn chairs, clothes, tent, sleeping bag, pillow. Have fun!
  7. Don't set up your tent along the path to the bathroom, you'll be up all night.
  8. set up as far from the stages as you can. close to the stage = more foot traffic past your valuables. 1 thing you cant have enough of is ice. I cant stress this enough. it will be sold for about $5 a bag when you are there. I have seen people stand in line an hour for ice ...buy 10 bags...walk to the back and sell it for $10 to the person who doesnt want to wait and then they stand in the line again repeat repeat repeat...pretty funny. 1 more thing you cant to without are some GOOD earplugs for when you do want to catch a nap. Might want to think about some of those eyemask things to block out light if you want to take a nap during the day. Also some type of pole....maybe 7feet tall you can tie some type of flag to and plant it next to your tent incase there are 2000 tents surrounding you. Makes it easy to find your tent in the late night hours after a few to many drinks! some type of game...cards or frisbee or hacky sack Most important...take a good attitude
  9. bring a decent tent that can stand up to rain if that is the forecast. dont forget a sleeping bag or pillow. bring warm clothes, but i wouldnt over-pack... remember, you have to carry in whatever you bring(unless its a drive up to your camp type of deal, and for your sake i hope it isnt. ive been to over twenty festivals, and i can tell you from experience that its better if the fest kids dont have a car near by.) if you do them, it is safer to buy drugs from someone you know beforehand. this is a risk bringing them in, but you cant trust everyone that offers you something. bring plenty of love and good vibes. if you have hand drums, flutes, guitars, fire gear, or anything glowing in combination with poi work, staff, or dancing.. anything like that can make a fest a bit more fun. bring food. again, dont feel you need to have a huge variety for these few days.. bring enough though.. avoid glass... many camping places dont want glass due to kids walking around barefoot. toilet paper... bring some... they might run out.. you can get camping packages that dont take much space because there is no tunnel thing.. (dont know what thats called) water! money for water.. something.. keep hydrated!!! booze in non glass bottles. toothbrush and toothpaste! condoms.. crazy stuff tends to happen to many people, if not you remember you need to have your friends backs and look out for their safety at all times. if you have any further questions feel free to contact me. im an avid festival goer, and have spent a lot of time backpacking and surviving out of a backpack for months at a time. oh, dont forget dishes.. you might need (water bottle!!!) a flashlight might be handy, so bring a small one, but dont overuse it.. many people dont want lights shined on them as they walk around to mingle with others. it can help with getting ready for bed when you go to your tent though.
  10. pitch a tent on high ground in case of rain. don't forget the rain fly and a tarp and mark the outside of your tent with something like a flag or reflector so you can pick it out in the dark.
  11. Forget the tent take a camper or RV you will be gld you did.
  12. DO NOT pitch your tent near a generator. A woman died and her boyfriend was hospitalized recently in Wisconsin. Camp sites at these fests are usually very close together. Beware
  13. food from mobile food stands is usually burgers etc. my son starved at a festival because he says the burgers were almost raw and there was nothing else worth eating. also there will be queues for the food. so maybe take some easy to prepare food. a small stove with a frying pan . you could cook bacon eggs sausages and beans . and fill a bag with rolls biscuits fruit. pies what ever you like to munch on. and take wet wipes . you can have a bath with a few wet wipes. with 4 ladies around you need to be clean-ish. have fun

  15. Take a dump before you go - you won't be wanting to use the festival toilets.
