  1. take some vinegar in case your dog gets sprayed by a skunk, and some pliers in case he runs into a porcupine. also you should take a leash in case you need to control him, for example if a bear comes close to your campsite you want to put your dog on a leash right away, otherwise he will be aggressive to the bear. Dont forget the flea/tick collars, and you have to check your dog for ticks every day anyway. Dogs love camping, have fun ;)
  2. Make sure that you treat her for flea and tick prevention. Frontline is what I use it's the only one that is waterproof for prolonged exposure to the water. You will need to remember to take food and water dishes, dog food, a tie out stake, leash, tomatoe juice or store remedy for skunks, something to clean up her daily duty, and please remember that if she/he is a barker please be considerate of other campers. Trust me a lot of campgrounds will toss you if you dog barks alot. We have two dogs that we take on every camping trip. We have been tossed from a park because of barking. Otherwise your dog will love it, fresh air and sunshine. Have a great time :-]
