stuff to do with the dog in tow on camping trip, holmsley new forest?
we are taking our dog camping with our 2 kids and need ideas of stuff to do, places to go that will allow dogs. Obviously there will be plenty of walking and we are going fossil hunting on the beach, but thats not going to use up 4 days, any ideas. We will be staying at holmsley in the new forest.

- that could quite easily take up four days! if you want more ideas, try searching online for the local tourist board.

- To be honest i could take up 4 days. Im16 and have been camping all my life i never get bored on holiday and yet we hardly ever go out (less expensive that way). The new forest is a great area it is soo pretty you could walk for miles that would tire the kids out. If you have found a nice campsite to stay on, and there are loads in the new forest, then stay at the campsite and play family games, take a footy me n my bros love being out in the fresh air having a kick around, we dont even miss the tv. If it rains we always play cards there areloads of games the kids can play too, we play rummy sevens whist poker or even snap. The best bit though from a childs point of view is finding new friends, the amount of new friends i have made on holiday i havnt kept in touch but it has been nice while it has lasted. Camping gives you a chance to get away and relax so just relax with a good book or something whilst the kids play with their new friends.
- My only insight is watch the dog, it will roll in every dead anything it comes to and you will be stuck with a stinking dog the entire time.
