Camping Out Ideas
Items to take camping?
I am leaving Monday for a 5 day camping trip, could you give me some ideas on what to pack. Please leave out the basics, I should have those covered. Anything that I might forget or you have forgotten or wished you would have thought of?? Thanks! Oh yeah...there will be electricity and showers and a laundermat there...it's a camping "resort" not deep woods camping or anything.

- Not enough information. Are you staying in a cabin? A tent? A trailer, a motor home? Food, shelter, toiletries, clothing suitable for the weather, equipment for cooking, stuff to do for recreation, shoes suitable for walking long distances through wet grass, first aid gear, protection from the weather. Oh, you said, "Leave out the basics." Babe, if I went camping, all I would take are the basics. I'm 65. My idea of roughing it is to go without room service.
- 1. Alcohol (if you are a drinker) 2. Water 3. Snacks 4. Sunscreen 5. Sleeping Bag/Blanket/Pillow 6. Some type of shoe/sandal to walk around in (water shoes double for land and water!) 7.Camping chair 8. Sunglasses 9. Hat/Visor (the sun is brutal) 10. Bug Spray 11. Extra Hair Ties 12. Pain Reliever (or a First-Aid Kit)) 13. A Bathing Suit (or suits)
