- How long are you gone and can you wash it in your camp? I usually take enough clothes for a week (3-4 changes) and 7 panties/pairs of socks plus jacket, sandals or flip-flips and sneakers. As long as you can wash your thingies once in a while (maybe in a sink!) this amount of clothing can last you for a year in an Round-the-World trip. I bring: jeans pair of zip-off trousers shorts skirt 3-4 T-shirts 1 long sleeved blouse or t-shirt Also take a look at this site: http://www.travelite.org/clothing.html http://www.travelite.org/clothing/womenswardrobe.html Maybe not your style yet, but some of the ideas rock. Steal them, especially the idea of having everything color-coordinated!
- supp im 13 and I go camping with girl scouts like every summer. 1.dont take any electronics 2. bring extra pairs of everything 3. BUG SPRAY. soo important 4. pillow 5. little clock ... lets you know what time you get up if you dont have a watch 6. flashlight 7. hiking shoes 8. tennis shoes 9. no jewlrey, this isnt fashion camp, i think. 10. bring itch cream or spray for those nasty mosquito bites 11. if its 3 nights or more, bring shampoo and conditioner. if theres a shower.. bathing suit too if you are uncomfy about being.. you know. naked around other peeps 12. 1 more pair of socks than the days your going. 13. tooth brush.. tooth paste... 14. washcloths and soap 15. sunscreen 16. sleeping bag 17. sunglasses possibly? 18. notebook to write down what you did that day. it helps you be able to tell your parents "so.. the first day we did..." insted of "uhhh idk" any others i cant think of you'd prob. think of.. HAPPY CAMPIN!
