surviving summer camp hygiene tips?
I'm going to a summer camp where most of the cabins don't have electricity, meaning no hair straighteners, so my hair will be wavy and frizzy. Also, I hear you have to fight pretty hard to get a shower (and my hair gets really greasy if i go without one for even a day). aaaannndddd... since 15 people share one bathroom, it's going to be hard to do makeup or shaving, or anything santizing. and clothing... I haven't even thought about that! any ideas on how to stay sanitary and look decent in a place like this?

- i went to a camp [heb camp in leakey, tx] on a school trip for a week, and i shared a cabin with about 13 other girls. for your hair, it'd probably be best to wear it mainly in buns and ponytails. if you want, you could bring an anti-frizz serum, or something. showering wasn't an issue for our cabin. maybe try and have half the people take a morning shower, and the other half take one at night. also, limit the time on the showers, like 5 minutes to 10 minutes. for shaving, i had the venus shaver breeze i think, the one where you didn't need to use shaving cream. so that made shaving a little faster. makeup, i personally wouldn't worry about. if you really want to wear it, just go for quick basics like mascara & gloss. but yeah. just try & practice getting ready quickly and whatnot. have fun at camp.
- well i went to summer camp, each cabing had about 16, showering wasnt a problem cause half showered in the morning and half showered in the evening. so i wouldnt worry about that. now for your hair...try using a straightening shampoo/conditioner like garnier fructis or sebastain.to help with the wavy/frizzy hair, keep it well combed so at least it doesnt look out of control and try paul mitchell gloss dropps for a serum. as for the shaving..if you don't already, you should shave in the shower since it might be the only time you can. get one of those all-in-one razors like intuition. makeup- it might all just melt off so just go with the essentials.. lip balm/gloss and mascara mand eyeliner. you can try the she laq product from benefit which seals everything in, but i havent tried it yet myself so idk how well it would work. you can also carry around some of those pil wipes for when your face gets shiny. bring a mirror so you wont have to use the bathroom;s.
