- Take more underwear than you think you'll need and fewer changes of clothing. Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and an insect repellent. Bring several extra pairs of socks. The nights may get chilly, so bring a couple of sweatshirts.
- get light ariy clothes and roll them up in french bread fashion and chunk in socks and undies in small open areas fill in as much space as possible
- Bring outfits that can be interchanged...that favorite track suit, with a pair of shorts or 2 that match...probably only necessary to bring one pair shoe and 2 pair of sandals...you'll probably only need the track jacket when it gets cold. Remember only to take what you need, start from a list, and the downsize where needed. also, bring your favorite book or magazines...nature is a great place to relax and get some reading done, well..at least on the ride there and back =)
- Dryer Lint (for starting campfires), Workman's gloves (for handling all kinds of things), A Headlamp style flashlight (so you can use) two hands in the dark ..... there are ten awesome tips here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/285571/ten_tips_for_better_camping.html
