  1. pills. pills make the phone calls go away.
  2. Drinking helps
  3. What the fu*ck kind of camp are you going to? A concentration camp? Work camp for criminals? If not, why would you have anxiety about camping?
  4. The anxiety is good for you. Thats the body's kick in of the fight or flight syndrom, both of which will be good for you. The fight syndrom will keep you safe and alert and the flight syndrome will keep you awake and on your toes. Enjoy came!
  5. bring with you a box of valiun 10mg.
  6. alcohol. Unless "camp" means jail. Then you just have to kick somebody's a$$ as soon as you get there, or become their b****.
  7. after one day you will have anxiety about going home. you will have more fun than being at home
  8. make sure you take what you really need. Nothing is like having too much stuff and you have to lug it around.
  9. don't be a baby! Do you think you are going to ruin your nails? I just went on a 5 day hiking trip, we covered 60 miles, no toilet, we had to purify our drinking water, carry all of our gear, beds, etc (around 40 lbs ) over mountainous terrain and I'm a chick! grow some nads man! My husband would laugh at you!
  10. alprazolam. it is the single most effective anti anxiety medicine I have ever taken. xanax is what you may be more familiar with. I recommend the 1 mg dose.
  11. Deep breathing, and stretching. Not only will it help you release anxiety you will feel more refreshed and be able to think more clearly. just think of something you're nervous about, take a deep breath, think of how silly it is to be nervous about it, and breath out slowly. It subcousiosly makes your body believe it has control over that situation, by controling the breathing. Also stay away from caffiene, it can cause alot of anxiety and hyper thinking. There really isn't anything to fear about camp, no matter what kind of camp there is. There's plenty of safety precautions, and tons of people in the same position as you, feeling the same way you do. The more strength you have going into that situation, the more strength you have to help others that may be nervous, and that will in turn help you feel better :)
  12. By the time you come back, not only will you miss everyone there but you might not want to leave. I am 37 years old, and I still remember my first summer camp outing like it was yesterday. Don't sweat it. Think of all the fun you will have. Man, I wish I were in your shoes. Have fun.
  13. ativan. 2mg, 4 times a day. f* the valium, go for the good stuff.
  14. laughing my butt off! Have too? It's a great life if you don't weaken my daddy always told. I'm still scratching my head on this have to thing. Anyways, here goes my tip. Sleep as much as possible.
