  1. smores over the cooktop
  2. Smores! make a tent using chairs and a few sheets. Some cable companies provide a channel with a log burning.
  3. you should get a good campfire going and roast some marsh mellows and sing Cumbaya. Make sure smoke detectors work good as well.
  4. You can make Smores in the microwave...layer the graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallow, let it go for 10-20 seconds (depending on your microwave)...mmm...
  5. well if you go to this website and press vote it gives you helpful info on stuff like that .... here is the link http://situationhelp.bravehost.com
  6. you can still make smores in the microwave. if you have a george foreman grill you can still make like grilled chicken or burgers or something. turn the lights out and use your flashlights to tell stories. or set up like a savenger hunt in the dark. have fun with it. see what your son wants to do.
  7. yucouldroast marshmallows andmake smores by the fireplace if you have one..
  8. What a wonderful idea. Popcorn is always good as a snack. You can still have s'mores. Turn the lights out as if you are really camping and tell scary tales. Sheets as a tent may be a good idea as well.
  9. i think that would be great or if it made him fell better do it in your garage and then youll get more of a fell of what REAL camping is! You could get a lamp and put red and yellow paper over it! oR PUT UP CANDLES AND ROAST MARSHMELLOWS! but if you have a room with lots of windows (like a sun room) do it in there because then if it rains it would be like being outside just less wet! But you could play cards or invite his friends over (if he wanted to but dont if you plain on "bonding') and play like whos in my slepping bag! But dont let it get silent for too long because then he could get sad that yall arent REALLY camping but my friend spent the night one ime and i got a lamp and put red and yellow and orange over it and set up a tent and got a blue sheet for a river! (because she didnt go camping with her brothers! But if you really want to b close friends with him build your tent with sheets and stuff me and my brother did that! Hope it works (p.s if you can tell me how it works out !) *YEAH*
  10. you could make smores in the microwave! And maybe set up a small tent in the living room or sometime. Games... flash light tag!
  11. Popcorn is a great snack. Scavenger hunt using string attached to "prizes" strung throughout the house (within reason, you don't want them going into your bedroom but your child's room is ok, kitchen, livingroom, familyroom). They have to follow the string to the prize.
  12. Hi there! I am actually planning to do this for my husband for our anniversary. He loves camping, but I don't, so I never go with him. So what I'm doing is clearing out one of our rooms and setting up a tent with a couple sleeping bags. I'm going to cover the entire ceiling and walls with those glow in the dark stars and planets and make a "fire" by getting a large dinner plate and placing as many burning candles as I can on it. I plan to have all the ingredients to make smores and also roast some hot dogs (you can roast these on the "fire", just use a fork to stick them on) .You can cover the floor in those artificial fall leaves to make it seem more outdoorsy. As for games, I can't think of camping ones, but maybe you could just bring something like Yahtzee, Memory, Guess Who.....anything the two of you would have fun playing. Hope I gave you some ideas =-)
