Camping Out Ideas

Does anybody know activities that are done during football camp/training?

I am a football coach for pee-wee's and we are starting practice next week. I have things such as 2 hand touch, flag, catching, throwing, etc. The pee-wee group is ages 5-8. Does any body know some activities we can do? Thank you for your help!

  1. shuffle from side to side, how about TACKLES???? and blocking drills, since pee-wee is all about the running game. try drawing up some screen pass plays, but obviously, they are not going to be running many routes or bombing it over the middle.
  2. precision passing
  3. hey, I actually am in peewee pop warner. The age group is actually 11-13. Run a quarter mile. Then stretches (don't forget neck), some push up, and up downs. We move to plios (high knees, backpedal, bear crawls). Then we break up into 3 groups and rotate drills. usually a hitting drill including coming in at an angle. blocking (offensive line verse defensive line). and then a agility drill. Then we regroup after a water break and do something including teamwork. I may carry someone my own size on my back for 20 yards. Or railroad tracks. hope that helps
