  1. It would help a lot to know the target group of this summer camp. Is it a full summer? One week at a time? Kids from 5 - 18? Religion-based? Gender-specific? Task-Oriented (weight loss, computer camp, math camp, band camp, scout camp,)? Generally speaking, outdoorsmanship and exposure to activities that kids are not normally exposed to in their day-to-day life is what camp is all about. Spending time in nature, observing, hiking, plant identification, bird, insect, rock and mammal identification, basic wilderness awareness skills (make sure to take water! Eat wholesome foods, don't overdo it), and short overnight trips all help build confidence in kids, as well as team-building and good memories. Activities generally include swimming, arts and crafts, drama, archery, outdoor gaming, and leisure times. Naturally you'd need plenty of people who are certified to instruct kids, especially in areas where they could hurt themselves. The resources are out there, and the more specific you are, the better your results will be.
