I need a list of items to take rv camping?
Getting ready to go Motor home camping and am cluesless on wha we need to bring other than our clothes. And all of the do's and don'ts before you leave

- It really depends upon how big the camper is, where you are going camping, and what items you use in your everyday life. You will need sleeping bags or blankets, towels, dishes, cookware, perhaps a stove to cook upon if the RV isn't equipped. Something to do if it's raining. I would suggest going to an RV forum, such as http://www.rv.net/cforum/index.cfm to see what other people take. If you search on "list" you can find several ready-made lists that you can adapt for your family. A best bet would be to spend a night "camping" in front of your home. That way, when you realize what you need, you can run into the house to get it and add to your camper. Also, spend some time practicing parking and manuevering the RV before you get on the road. Be especially careful of backing. And have fun!
