- I bought a grill book that was good for grilling meats. marinate the meat 1 or 2 days ahead of time so under temp wont be a big problem. when I go camping I dont make food a priority so I make sandwitches ect. Can food is quick and easy. Food tv as 30 min. meals that can be made on a gas grill. I like packaged freezed dried food from the army supply store. charcole is great for any meats. have you ever been camping before?
- I don't have any recipies right on hand... but, when we go camping... I always marinade and premake Kabobs... they fit really good in gallon sized ziplock bags... so all you need to do when your camping is pull them out of the cooler and straight to the grill... plus...their good finger food which is always so much easier when camping! Any kind of Kabobs.... we make chicken and pinapple... steak w/ peppers and onions, etc.
- I would reccomend something simple and classic. Such as hotdogs and hamburgers.
- Try going to www.allrecipes.com This site is the best for finding highly rated recipes. They all come with nutritional analysis. Good luck!!

- Make a teriaki sauce and marinate your chicken or beef or pork in it put it in a container it will last five days, about for OZ, of soy sauce, one lime, two or three crushed garlick 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, two teasp. of fresh ginger grated.AWSOM!!! The longer it marinates the better it will be, you can adjust the ingred. to your own tastes.Enjoy, hope you will try.
- We love camping, and anything you can make at home you can do on a camp stove, but I cook almost everything on a camp fire - yes on the fire. Check out this WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) website for all kinds of recipes. http://www.geocities.com/both_scouters/toc.html These are some of our favorites! Breakfast Burritos: 1 lb. breakfast sausage. 10-14 eggs (depending on how man people you have to feed) Flour tortillas, shredded cheddar or jack cheese, salsa Brown sausage and drain fat. Beat eggs in a bowl and add to sausage. Cook eggs through. Heat tortillas over the flame and fill to your liking! We also make french toast, pancakes (Biscuit in the plastic container - just add water:)), and bacon. Lunch/Dinner Taco Salad: 1 lb. ground beef 1 packet taco seasoning 1 small or medium can of Ranch Style Beans Fritos, Doritos or other corn chip shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa,... Brown ground beef and drain fat. Add taco seasoning and beans; heat through. Serve over chips and garnish with everything else. Foil Dinners: (per person) 1 boneless skinless chicken breast 2 slices yellow or red onion sliced assorted vegetables (We like fresh green beans, mushrooms, zucchini, and potatoes.) You can put all ingredients in one large foil pouch, or everyone can make their own in small pouches. Season meat and veggies. Layer everything in the foil pouch, starting and ending with the onions. (The onions keep the other food from sticking to the foil and from getting charred if the coals are too hot. Just tell the kids they don't have to eat them.) Add a little butter to the pouch and fold up to seal. Place in hot coals for about 20-25 or until the chicken is cooked through.
