- something delicious would be to chop your halibut into cubes, quickly flour them and deep fry them (I'd use a small size wok). Then I would add the halibut to a vegetarian stir fry. You can serve it with plain noodles or boiled rice. Depending on where you're camping, you should be able to find aromatique herbs or leaves to add to your stir-fry.
