- Well, it all depends on which camp you are going to, and what kind of riding you'll be doing, but here's a list of the things I would bring/have brought to horse camp. 1. Your Horse of course. 2. All your Tack (Saddle, Bridle, Brushes, Halters etc...) 3. Clothing for every day of camp. (pack an extra set of clothes also in case something happens and you need an extra change of clothes.) Be sure to pack items for the various weather changes that might occur. 4. Personal Items (Deodorant, tooth brush, hair brush, hair bands, hair products such as mousse, gel, etc..., makeup if you wear it, Sunscreen, etc...) 5. Sleepwear (sleeping bag, cot, pillow, or whatever else you are supposed to sleep on) 6. A jacket/coat depending on the weather 7. A bathing suit (we bring them to camp just because we dont have showers and have to bathe with the water hoses out by the stalls, lol) 8. Camera (I NEVER forget my camera, I LOVE having pictures of horse camp) 9. Water Buckets/Feed Buckets 10. Hay/Grain 11. Water hose (for showers for you and your horse) 12. A box fan for your horse's stall (if you are in a hot climate and have a place to put it where the horse cant reach it) 13. A first-aid kit for you and/or your horse, though the camp should have one also 14. Bedding for your horse's stall (unless its already provided for you) 15. A stall pick (to clean your stall) Umm.... I think thats about it... though I feel like I'm forgetting something.... lol When do you go to camp? Because around here Horse camp doesn't start until June...
