Camping Out Ideas
Any gift ideas for 2nd and 3rd graders?
I am volunteering at a musical camp at my church and I have 6 2nd and 3rd grade girls in my group and I want to make them some little gifts for all their hard work that they have been doing. Any ideas??? Cost needs to be under 3 dollars so anything I can make with beads or something. Thanks!

- hm... try making them each a braclet with beads that say their name on them! they would love that
- A friend of mine who works with children, has them "earn" a bead by doing certain things and accomplishing different tasks and she lets them add the bead to a bracelet. Each time they make an accomplishment they get to select a bead from her bead box. They love it. and will do amazing work just to get another bead. And we though New York sold cheep for 24 beads. Your gift to them would be the box of beads and depending on how many are involved you could macrame them into a bracelet or give them a class in macrame so they could make them into a permanent bracelet. And maybe you could add one special bead from you to them to finish off the bracelet. Your bead gift could be the fastener beads so that your gift is the closure bead on their friendship bracelet. luck
- stretchy bracelets are great for their age, but you could also make bookmarks with the odd beads you have left from other projects.
