- Depends on the type of camp they are sent to. When I was a kid I was sent to a Y camp (YMCA). We had archery, canoeing, hiking, arts and crafts, sports, etc. Some camps specialize in something. Like: music, math, etc. Band camp, hee hee - inside joke their. I wish you luck!
